Why have a workplace massage treatment?
Each individual session takes only 20 minutes and is carried out through clothing. No worries about being sensitive to massage oil and no need to undress. Massage is a really easy and satisfying way to unwind after a stressful morning or day.
There is an increasing obligation to the health of employees and their wellbeing. By insuring access to health and fitness opportunities, an employer can reap the benefits of staff that then feel respected and well cared for.
Spending lots of time standing, seated, in a car, at a desk or using a PC can cause the body to be under a lot of physical stress, even if the seating is to the recommended guidelines and regular breaks are achieved. Our bodies are not designed to stand or be seated all the time and we rarely maintain an ideal posture.
What benefits are there?
Individuals can feel relief from stress and postural stiffness through workplace massage and tension release in a pleasant environment. Less headaches and backache could be the longer-term results.
A massage experience is usually calming and relaxing but leaving you feeling energised, revitalised and better able to concentrate. The aim of workplace massage is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, neck and shoulders.
Employers – By decreasing physical stress levels, through regular relaxation of muscles in the back and shoulders especially, along with breaks from the workplace/station, it is felt that productivity can improve, concentration levels can increase, psychological stress and overall, sickness rates can reduce.
Why not contact me to discuss the possibilities of workplace massage?
We could visit you and give you a demonstration of the type of massage available. We would bring all the equipment required but a suitable, quiet place/room for the treatments would need to be available for the duration of each treatment session on-site.
Once you have sampled the experience of NO HANDS® Massage, we could discuss the options available for enabling your staff to have treatments. Each individual session takes 20 minutes and is carried out through clothing. They can usually be done during lunch breaks.
Some companies are able to book a regular afternoon/morning session of 2-3 hours, each month, with me and this enables a lot of treatments to be carried out more economically. Treatments could be paid for wholly by the staff members or by the employer or are often made available to staff, at a discounted rate (i.e. some paid for by employer) to encourage participation.
The workplace is not the only way to enjoy relaxing & stress busting massage. Exhibitions, shops and show grounds are amongst other possible locations. In fact, massage can take place anywhere that a quiet zone can be created.
