:: Iridology
Improving health through Individual diet & lifestyle advice
What is iridology?
A simple, painless and non-invasive technique of examining the iris of each eye. This carries your individual ‘map’ of inherited or constitutional strengths and weaknesses, as well as a representation of your general state of well-being.
Please note that iridology is unsuitable for anyone who has undergone eye surgery. If in any doubt, please contact us.
How is iridology done?
The iris of each eye is examined using illuminated, magnifying lenses. Each organ and body system is represented in the iris and can usually be assessed for efficiency and/or potential weakness. Many health issues may relate to dysfunction in organs thought not to be directly connected (i.e. headaches and the liver).
Digital photographs will usually be taken so that the features seen can be discussed with you. These are often shown on a computer screen.
What will iridology tell me?
Iridology is not used to directly diagnose specific diseases. If you are facing health challenges, iridology can help identify what needs to be done, with regard to diet and lifestyle, to optimise your chances of improved health. Iridology can help identify possible organ & system weaknesses, which can attribute to conditions such as:
- Allergies & Asthma
- Acne & skin problems
- Digestive & bowel disease
- Candida & Flatulence
- Hyperactivity & lethargy
- Depression
- PMS & Fertility problems
- Menopausal symptoms
- Arthritis & joint pain
- Chronic fatigue & Stress
- Weight control problems
Can iridology help me if I am not ill now?
If you are currently enjoying good health, the information gained during an iridology assessment could prove invaluable for you to maintain your present and help you to enjoy future health and vitality.
Iridology is a very positive, helpful tool for nutritional and lifestyle therapy.
What should I expect?
Your assessment will last about an hour and will
involve iris examination and the taking of your health history. Contact lenses will need to be removed for this session. You will have the key features of your eyes and
their possible meaning explained to you. You will receive a written plan of action along with useful and
relevant information sheets. This plan will be specific to your own health constitution, current diet and
lifestyle.
What happens then?
It will be for you to decide if you wish to follow these guidelines and potentially benefit from their effects. If you do, by experience, the changes should improve your current and future health.
The iridology assessment is designed to be a stand alone session to give you basic guidelines and information. You may decide that you wish to pursue further nutritional therapy and guidance towards improved health. If so, you may book in to the nutritional therapy for reviews. This would provide more detailed guidance for diet, nutrient supplementation and detoxification, if applicable.
